March brings with it many good things including March Madness, the official start of spring, blooming flowers, sunshine, and the much-needed chance to finally shake off the winter blues and head out to a casino for some fun. This March, you don’t have to go to the same casinos you have visited time and time again with the same entertainment and restaurants.
On March 27, San Diego residents and visitors alike will finally have access to the much talked about and highly anticipated Bull & Bourbon restaurant, a part of the expansion by Sycuan Casino.
The Bull and Bourbon restaurant will anchor the Sycuan Casino Resort as its premier steakhouse, helmed by Executive Chef Aldo Negrete. Founded in 1983 this casino has undergone a 226 million dollar expansion literally spanning 500,000 square feet. Included in which, are not only more gaming opportunities and a luxury hotel, but the anticipated Bull & Bourbon restaurant. And yet, this is so much more than your average restaurant. It has been described as a casino defining steakhouse that features a top executive chef who is preparing each meal by way of the in-house aging room and butchery on site. Steaks will be aged and prepared on a custom wood burning grill by Executive Chef Aldo Negrete, formerly a cook at Rare Form, Jsix, and Whisknladle.
What Tastes are in Store…
Executive Chef Aldo Negrete says it best:
Bull & Bourbon will bring an innovative approach to classic steakhouse cuisine. We will feature steaks cut from our in-house butcher program along with select cuts from our on-site aging room. The kitchen will come to life each night as we create a multi-sensory experience with steaks prepared from our custom wood burning grill paired with our hand-selected bourbon menu.
California residents and visitors alike can make their reservation not just for the restaurant but for the hotel as well. Rooms can be booked in the soon-to-be premiered luxury tower with access to the spa, fitness center, and of course the outdoor pools just in time for the warm weather to hit. Entertainment is available at night and the casino floors are open 24 hours a day. So visitors can get in the mood now for a high intensity gambling streak coupled with live entertainment and of course superb cuisine.

Sunday through Thursday reservations can be made for seating anytime between 5:00 p.m. and 10:00 p.m. Friday and Saturday the restaurant is open 5pm until 11pm.
